Pricing questions, answered

What counts as one API credit?
1 API call = 1 credit. Always. No per-tool multipliers, no small print. Cached hits (repeat lookups within TTL) are free. Prism AI messages count against a separate monthly quota, not credits.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Soft nudge at 90%. Hard block at 100% with a 402 that points you at the smallest tier that unblocks you. Optional overage billing (opt-in in Settings, off by default) lets you burst past the cap without changing plans.
Can I switch tiers mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades are prorated and take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal so you keep the higher limit through the billing cycle.
What does monitoring actually watch?
SSL certificate expiry + chain, domain expiry + auto-renew failure, DNS drift (with dangling-CNAME detection), WHOIS change with hijack-pattern detection, DMARC/SPF/DKIM with a guided p=none → p=reject journey, MTA-STS + TLS-RPT, ~47 RBLs + Google Safe Browsing + PhishTank, typosquat/lookalike surface, and security-header posture. Every alert ships with a paste-ready fix from Prism AI.
Is the data on every tier the same?
Yes. We never gate on data quality — only on volume, retention, cadence, monitored domains, alert channels, seats, and enterprise-only capabilities (typosquat, PSA, priority queue, sub-workspaces). A Free user gets the same JSON envelope as a Business user.
What if I need more than 50 monitored domains?
Talk to sales. Beyond Business, we offer custom-scoped Enterprise deals with 100+ domains, unlimited sub-workspaces, full white-label (agency logo + custom domain for client reports), bulk import + registrar API sync, dedicated CSM, custom SLA, and optional VPC.
Do you offer a self-hosted / on-prem tier?
