RUA (Reporting URI for Aggregate) is the DMARC record field specifying the mailbox that should receive daily aggregate reports. These reports are gzipped XML sent by receivers (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo) showing which IPs sent mail using your domain and whether SPF/DKIM passed.
Record Format

If you use a third-party DMARC processor (dmarcian, EasyDMARC, Valimail) and their address is in a different domain, that domain must publish a special TXT record authorizing your reports:
example.com._report._dmarc.dmarcian.com. TXT "v=DMARC1"Most processors ship a wildcard authorization so this step is transparent.
Why It Matters
Without RUA you’re deploying DMARC blind. Aggregate reports are the only way to see who is sending using your domain — including shadow-IT SaaS tools you didn’t know were on your DNS.
